Missions

Palawan, Philippines

Psa. 97:1. "The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of the isles be glad."

Palawan, Philippines is a remote Island south west of Manila. It is called the last frontier of the Philippines, and has just recently, become the focal point for many political and religious speculations, putting thousands of people at risk both socially and spiritually. Christ the King Church, U.S.A. has been involved in Missionary outreach to Palawan since 1997 - at the invitation of Pastor Max Garner, founder of "Streams of Living Water Christian Ministries" in Palawan, and now overseen by our CtK Missions department. At present, we have a Bible Seminary and fourteen churches scattered throughout the Island, with a mission on the Muslim Island of Mungsee in the south, and an invitation to start a new work on the Island of Linapacan - some three to four hours by boat, north of Palawan.

Crusades are scheduled for June or July in Jopula, northern Palawan, and Linapacan, an Island north of Palawan. We plan to start Churches in both places, and both require a boat to take everything and everyone to there.

Please pray that we may not only win the lost, but also disciple these precious souls!
